Senegal safari

For the true adventurers, this two-day excursion offers an unforgettable journey into authentic Gambia.

The adventure begins early with a hotel pick-up, taking you through charming villages and lush rice fields, offering a genuine glimpse of daily life in rural Gambia. Our first stop is in Jarra Soma—a lively hub for locals and travelers—where we enjoy a traditional Gambian breakfast.

Along the way, we visit the famous “Stone Circles,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A knowledgeable local guide will share the history and mystery behind these ancient monuments.

We then head to Janjanbureh for a tasty local lunch before boarding a boat for a stunning trip through the River Gambia National Park. With an experienced captain and ranger at your side, you’ll have the chance to spot chimpanzees, hippos, and a wide variety of birds in their natural habitat.

Next, we explore Georgetown on a brief city tour, including visits to historic slave houses and interactions with the local community. We spend the night in a cozy riverside lodge, where a delicious dinner is served in a warm, African atmosphere.

The following morning, enjoy breakfast while taking in the sunrise over the river before we begin our scenic return journey along a different rural route.

They say, if you haven’t been to Georgetown, you haven’t truly seen Gambia!
